The metal parts are of poor grade.
The material of the strap is good, but the metal parts are not upto standard.1. The buckle had signs of discolouration.2. The prong housing is too large (from a neck injury point of view for the dog).3. The metal protecting the belt holes deteriorated immediately upon use.4. The item received is different from advertised. Photo attached.I have stopped using this.

Highly durable choice for a medium sized Dog
I have a medium sized Indian dog. Have been using this collar on him for over 8 months now and collar has still no sign of wear and tear. My biggest concern was that a low quality collar might come off as my Dog has habit of pulling the chain with all his might whenever he sees or smells some intruder (like squirrels, monkeys, stray dogs etc). Trust me he’s pretty strong, so if the collar is still holding without any signs of damage, you have nothing to worry about sturdiness. It doesn’t have a cushion underneath so it must be little uncomfortable for the dog when he’s pulling, but as my Dog would say if he can- comfort is for the bitches!. On a serious note, I just keep it little loose for him so it doesn’t make him uncomfortable, and he seems to sporting it pretty well. It enhances his personality too, maroon looks pretty good on his light brownish coat.
