I bought it to ward off stray dogs from my cars, it has literally no effect on the dogs are happily sleeping around after an half hour of spray, waste of money.Somebody pl suggest ways to wards of dogs as they are causing scratches on top, mirrion and binet portions of my cars.

I think for some animals it wouldn’t work as every animal is different but give it a try and see if it works for you. Yes, it’s expensive, if it didn’t work for some.For smell, it’s strong and remains present after 1 week if it doesn’t rain or gets washed.
